The Fuse Location

When you are stripping wire if the wire is slipping to the side it is normally not at the correct angle. We have a great setup video to stop the slipping of wire and you can find it by clicking this link.
Maintenance
To ensure smooth operation of your StripMeister E250 we recommend a maintenance of the following:
Make sure the machine is unplugged before performing any maintenance
1. Check oil level on the gear box monthly.
Before checking the oil, make sure the gear box is not hot. If oil is visible when the screw is removed from Oil filler hole on the gear box, the unit is still full. If not visible top up with manufacturers recommended gear oil (ISO VG320 or Petro of China CN320) until full.
For gear oil visit website:
http://www.pdblowers.com/pr91-roots-synthetic-lubricant-iso-vg-320-quart.php
2. Inspect blade for damage
3. Inspect and clean Feeder Drive of dirt and debris
4. Inspect whole machine for any loose parts
All of our machines come ready to use out of the box. Unpack your StripMeister and plug it in and begin stripping.
We only use one type of grease on our StripMeister machines and the grease can be found at any local hardware store. The type of grease we use is a general purpose white grease that is low odor, non staining, NLGI grade 2 grease.
We recommend using the provided hardware to fasten your StripMeister to a work bench or table.
Cat 5, Cat 5 and telephone wire are normally 22 and 20 gauge wire making it too small for the StripMeister E250 to strip. The smallest wire size the StripMeister E250 can do is #18 gauge wire.
The StripMeister E250 blade is CNC machined.
The StripMeister E250’s blade is made from heat treated and hardened tool steel for unbeatable quality.
With free shipping, we utilize a network of carriers to get your StripMeister the quickest to your location. You should receive your StripMeister E250 within 5 to 7 business days.
The StripMeister E250 can run on 220 Volts without any other needed configuration from StripMeister. Because the plug is regularly different for 220 volts you will need an adapter for the StripMeister.
The StripMeister E250 runs off any standard 110/120V household outlet.
Brandon witte –
Nice little machine, so far I have run several different sizes through with no issues. It could use an extra feature that pulls off the jacket as it slices the insulation but otherwise no complaints.

Having been an Electrician for the past 35 years or so… I have certainly processed my fair share of Scrap Copper and Aluminum Wire over those years. I have to say; This is was one of those purchases you debate for a couple minutes… and then finally decide lets try it. After one use for most of a Weekend, I have to say I was absolutely impressed! As I saw in some other reviews; “One trip to the Scrap Yard… and it paid for itself…” Great Product… and Made In the USA!
TROY STOKES –
Strips wire well. my only issue was on smaller stranded wire, if cut too deeply the wire disintegrates. Setting can take a little trial and error if doing lots of different sizes of wire clippings of different AWG. But when set right, great stripping..

Works great. Only suggestion would be a way to remove insulation ad it feeds thru.

Arrived today and tried it out on the kitchen table with; 10-3 NM, 12-2 NM, 16-3 SO cord, Monster speaker cable. Works fantastic on solid wire and the SO cord. Strips the jacket and the conductor insulation easily once you get the guide block and cutting knife properly set. It seems best to stay with one type/size wire to limit the setup time switching conductor types.
The speaker wire was OK but in order to cut the insulation the cutting wheel hit some of the fine wires in the monster cable. Still stripped OK but the short fine wire were a bit of a pain. I pulled the jacket off over a plastic bin to catch these small wires. Still better than trying to do this by hand.

takes a while to dial it in
SCOTT SHAPIRO –
Great little machine. I flip houses and the wire I removed from the last 2 homes almost completely paid for the stripper. Fast and efficient. Highly recommended.
